1. One-line strategy in the read aloud

Nowadays there are some rumors on the internet that reading only one line in the read-aloud passage is sufficient to score well. But in reality, it’s not true in any way. There is enough time to complete every task, so we would advise you to complete all the tasks and don’t skip any one of them.

2. Don’t attempt fake Accents

Use your natural accent to speak clearly and to score high on tests. The software is designed accordingly to pick up various accents so you do not need to worry. Just stick to your natural tone and be comfortable. The test takers access your fluency and accuracy, not the voice or tone. 

3. Add extra words or sentences to the writing task

Unnecessary use of words and sentences may hamper your sentence structure and complexity of it. Don’t repeat the sentences, just convey the accurate meaning in the sentence.

4. Use of Backspace on the keyboard

Some opinions on the internet said using backspace while summarizing the test will affect your score to a low level which is not correct. It has no relation with low marks, maybe the spelling mistakes and other errors will affect this.  

5. Focus to use fancy vocab

Instead of using fancy vocabulary, use simple and meaningful words and correct grammar which makes sentences easy to read and understandable. Unknowing words only affect negatively the PTE scorecard.
